All of our sessions are held remotely, so you can work from home (note, currently, all of our service providers must residents of Canada). We meet you, where you are at.
We value authenticity, as much as we value professionalism. At Aligned Paths, we work with you, to find out what excites you, and what you enjoy doing; we will explore how things you enjoy doing, match your interests, areas of desired growth, and passions. We want to know who you are, and work with you to explore what we can do, together!
At Aligned Paths, you pick your schedule, and the hours you want to work. You get to decide when you want to work, and how much. We only ask that you try to have around 3 hours a week, open.
We offer opportunities to connect with other service providers. once every six weeks, we offer the opportunity to receive additional training from our Clinical & Educational director, who holds highly specialized training in ADHD, ASD, and learning. We have a growing resource library, of free courses you can take, to help you level-up your skills. While none of this is required, it is available if you desire to develop.
We have significantly lower commission rates than our competitors, and we have a strict policy that students, parents, teachers, and schools are unable to request support from you outside of your scheduled and paid time. We set these boundaries to ensure your time & expertise is respected.
We fully manage most parts of the service for you; you basically just show up to teach! We offer admin support, as well, to both you and your students.
Register your application to be teacher on the platform, and upload your documentation. We will review your application, and reach out to you if we think you could be a good fit for our team.
Complete your profile by adding qualifications, experience, and skills. We will consider this in the initial review of your application, and then in which subject we approve to teach.
Please note that Academic Coaching is currently reserved for people who hold, at minimum, a master's degree, and have some formal experience in teaching at the post-secondary level, coaching, or counselling.
If we think you are a great fit for our team, we will set up an interview with you. We will explore your values, interests, needs, and expertise, and we both get the opportunity to see if we are a good match. If you are approved, we will proceed with onboarding, and activate your profile.
